Global Periodic Payment Assignment Company Inc. (Global PPAC) is an independent assignment company handling non-qualified assignments of periodic payment obligations. The company is managed by a board of industry experts in Barbados.

Global PPAC has been structuring income for more than 10 years.

Global PPAC operates in Barbados, a highly regulated jurisdiction with a well-established tax treaty with the United States. It allows for the tax-efficient assignment of non-qualified payment obligations.

Global PPAC is a Barbados company and is subject to all relevant Barbadian legal and regulatory authority. As it conducts business with clients in the U.S., the company is compliant with the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA). Global PPAC is overseen by a three-member Board of Directors and a management team.

A structured settlement provides a series of periodic payments to an individual receiving compensation from a settlement.

Attorney Fee Deferral

Attorneys may defer their contingency fees into a periodic payment obligation to spread and grow their income over time.

The Assignment Process

NQAR: Non-Qualified Assignment & Release Agreement

Assignor: Individual/Entity who legally transfers a right or obligation to another individual/entity, the “Assignee”. 

Assignee: Individual/Entity to whom a right or obligation is transferred by the individual/entity currently holding such right or obligation.

Assignment: The transfer to another of a right, interest, or title.

Custodian: A financial institution that holds securities in electronic or physical form to minimize the risk of loss.

Servicing Agent: A third-party engaged for the purpose of performing obligations held by Assignee.

Payee: Individual/Entity to whom payment is directed.

Promissory Note: A signed document containing a written promise to pay a stated sum(s) to a specified individual/entity on a specified date.
